Add formatted text included in bubbles
As the following image shows, formatted text can have various appearances. The text's formatting
information is coded together with the actual text. Comparable to
adding simple text, formatted text is associated
with afore selected image regions. However, formatted text included in bubbles can
be arbitrarily positioned within the image. When viewing the coded image, the text appears
at those specified positions.
The following steps are necessary to code formatted text:
- Selection of an image region, with which the text is associated and into which the
textual data will be encoded (left image below).
- Thereupon, the button for inserting text needs to be pressed (right image below).
- A dialog appears in which the type of the text can be selected (left image below).
- Upon selecting a text type (except Simple unformatted text) and
pressing the OK button, a prototype of the selected text type is included in the
image (right image below). This prototype can be arbitrarily moved within the image.
- To modify the text and its properties, the background of the text needs to be selected
by pressing the right mouse button. A menu appears from which Change properties
must be chosen. The left image below shows the dialog with which font, size, alignment,
colors, etc. can be modified. The shape of the text's bubble can be modified with the small
rectangular buttons (right image below).
- Upon positioning and formatting the text, the coded image can be generated and stored
using the button highlighted in the right image below. It is also possible to assign
several such texts to the same region.
